Do you have imposter syndrome?
Do you say to yourself:
- “What the hell are you doing?“
- “You are not a real business owner.“
- “You should stop this business and go back to work at the hospital because you really don’t know what you are doing.“
If you have not had this inner dialogue with yourself I would be impressed. We all have that inner “mean girl” telling us we are just not good enough to be successful. In today’s show, I chat with Jessica Serdikoff about her work with Empowered Dietitians.

Jess Serdikoff is a NJ-based registered dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor who splits her time between a small, intuitive eating virtual private practice to help individuals end years of restriction and stress around food; and a full-time supervision business for fellow dietitians feeling overwhelmed by burnout, imposter feelings, and paralyzing perfectionism. In both group and 1:1 supervision, Jess helps her colleagues more clearly define their professional identities and values, set better boundaries, and build confidence in their work. She specializes in case consultations for intuitive eating, weight inclusivity, and disordered eating. In her spare time, Jess loves hiking, curling up on the couch with her fiancé and their dog, Toby, and eating dessert. You can connect with Jess on Instagram @empowering.dietitians, listen to her Empowering Dietitians Podcast with new episodes weekly, or learn more about her supervision services at empoweringdietitians.com.
