These tips will help you get organized and move forward in building your dream practice.
How long is your “to do” list? If you are like me I am sure it could easily be a few pages long and don’t forget all those brilliant ideas you have of other projects and service you want to create. This can be the greatest and most frustrating part of being an entrepreneur. You have a million and one things to go along with ideas all the time. Let’s learn how not to get stuck in the overwhelm state and get things done every day to move you closer to that dream private practice!

I love learning! And now with all the content out there, we have an opportunity every day to learn and grow. That is all fine if you actually do something with what we lean. This month I want you to take time and take action on that “to do” list. I am all about taking action in your private practice daily and want you to do the same. I promise it will not be too much and you will actually see changes fast.
Fist start with a brain dump. Grab a sheet of paper and a timer. For 10 minutes I want you to write out EVERYTHING, and I do mean everything that is on your mind about your private practice. What has been keeping you up at night? Where are you feeling stuck or freaking out over? Once you finished the first pass, set the timer for another 10 minutes and see if you can expand on the original brain dump.
Second, every day I want you to pick out 3, no more no less, of daily driven goals that you can do in a 10-minute task. For example, if what I picked out was blogging, it might take me more than 10 min to write out a blog. Break that big task into 10-minute bite sizes.
- Pick out the topic of this blog
- Write out the keywords for this blog
- Write the first 1-2 paragraphs of this blog
If you have not gotten a copy of my free Driven Goal planner yet, I actually walk you through this process in the beginning and have a daily sheet for you to fill out. Taking time daily to write out what you want to accomplish makes the biggest difference in your clarity and focus.
Lastly, take action daily. If you can get in the habit of writing out your 3 ten minutes driven goals that you are going to do I promises you will eventually get through your entire to-do list in a more timely less stress manner. Three tasks feel a lot more manageable than that long to-do list. Making small bite size tasks help to chip away at this overall big stuff that is going on in your mind and helps you to get stuff done.
If you want to get organized in your private practice, you must take acton daily! Writing out those three tasks either at the start of your day to do or at the end of the day, so that you can take action on them for the following day will help you feel clarity and focus.
