She also shares some innovative ideas that her group counseling practice is doing to build up the community and to support other professionals.

ABOUT VANESSA, PhD
Vanessa is a licensed psychologist in Austin, Texas who works with adolescents, young adults, as well as adult populations. She provides individual, group, and family therapy. She works with her clients to help them achieve a greater sense of awareness so that they may identify patterns and behaviors that interfere with living the life they want. Vanessa also strives to instill a sense of hope, as she believes this is an important part of the process.
Her work centers on developing a safe and collaborative environment where clients feel comfortable discussing difficult aspects of their lives. While creating this type of setting is at the root of much of Vanessa’s clinical work, she also integrates theoretical approaches that help clients become more self-aware. It is through the process of developing awareness and insight that change can occur. She also believes in the importance of utilizing evidence-based behavioral approaches that can facilitate the change process.What’s your best version of marketing?
